== Description ==

* External images are imported on save
* URLs in the content are patched
* Per-post «Import» button
* Domain whitelist to skip hosts

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install it via the Plugins screen.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Open Settings → Sideload External Images and fill in your credentials.

== External Services ==

The plugin downloads images from the external URLs found in your content (hosts you whitelist are skipped). No other outbound requests.

== Privacy ==

The plugin stores its settings on your site and only talks to the services you configure with your own credentials.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Which images are imported? =

Only <img> sources pointing to other hosts; local and data-URI images are left alone.

= What if a host is unreachable? =

The image is skipped and counted as failed; the original URL stays in place.

= Does it touch existing local files? =

No — it only adds new attachments for external images and patches the post HTML.
