Unload heavy scripts, styles and whole plugins on chosen pages. Trial rules, automatic revert, emergency reset.

== Description ==

Contact forms load on the blog, sliders load in the checkout - and
every extra script costs speed. Load Guard lets you unload scripts,
styles and whole plugins on the pages that do not need them.

= What it does =

* URI-pattern rules: on pages whose address contains a pattern, the
  chosen script, style or plugin is not loaded.
* Whole-plugin unload: the plugin never runs on those pages - bigger
  savings than hiding it with CSS.
* A 10-minute trial window: a new rule expires by itself, so a mistake
  cannot take the site down permanently. One click keeps a rule that
  proved itself.
* Emergency reset: one button returns the site to the unfiltered
  state immediately.
* Admin, login, AJAX and cron are never touched - only front-end page
  views are affected.

= Load Guard Pro =

The Pro companion adds per-role conditions, per-category rule sets,
presets for popular plugins and a weekly savings report. Learn more:

== Installation ==

1. Install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen (Plugins ->
   Add New -> Upload Plugin) and activate it.
2. Open Settings -> Load Guard and add your first rule.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= What if a rule breaks my site? =

Trial rules expire in 10 minutes. If a page breaks, remove the rule
from the admin or use the emergency reset - the site returns to the
unfiltered state.

= How do I find the handle of a script? =

It is the first argument of wp_enqueue_script in the plugin source, or
visible in the page source as the file name inside the plugin folder.

= Is anything sent to third parties? =

No. Load Guard works entirely on your site and sends nothing anywhere.

== Changelog ==

= 1.0.0 =
* First release: URI-pattern rules for scripts, styles and whole
  plugins, 10-minute trial window, emergency reset, HPOS support.

== Privacy & Data ==
