Customers pick a delivery date and time slot at checkout. Closed days, holidays, slot capacity and a same-day cutoff. Light, local, HPOS-ready.

== Description ==

Food, flowers and furniture all share one question: "when should we
deliver?" Delivery Pick answers it at checkout - the customer picks a
date and a time slot, and the order lands on your delivery schedule.

= What it does =

* A date picker built from your rules: first delivery day, calendar
  depth, closed weekdays, holidays, and a same-day cutoff hour.
* Time slots with capacity ("10:00-13:00 takes 3 orders a day"). A full
  slot disappears from the checkout automatically; cancelled orders
  free the capacity back.
* The choice is validated on the server at submit time - a race for the
  last slot cannot sneak through.
* The date and slot show up in the order, on the thank-you page, in the
  e-mails, and in a "Delivery" column of the orders list with a date
  filter ("what are we delivering on September 25?").
* A tiny local script (about 2 KB) drives the slot list - no jQuery UI,
  no CDN, nothing external.
* Works with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).

== Installation ==

1. Install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen (Plugins ->
   Add New -> Upload Plugin) and activate it.
2. WooCommerce must be active.
3. Open WooCommerce -> Delivery Pick and set your schedule and slots.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Can two customers book the same slot? =

Capacity is checked both when the picker renders and again when the
order is placed. A cancelled order releases its capacity.

= Is a date required? =

You decide. Turn "Required" off and the customer may order without a
date.

= How does the same-day cutoff work? =

With a cutoff of 3 hours, "today" disappears from the picker after
21:00 - the kitchen needs its three hours.

= Does it work with HPOS? =

Yes. Delivery Pick declares HPOS compatibility and reads and writes
order meta through the WooCommerce CRUD API.

= Is anything sent to third parties? =

No. Delivery Pick works entirely on your site and sends nothing
anywhere.

== Changelog ==

= 1.0.0 =
* First release: date picker with closed days / holidays / cutoff, time
  slots with capacity, checkout validation, orders list column and
  filter, thank-you page and e-mail display, HPOS support.

== Privacy & Data ==

Delivery Pick stores the chosen date and slot as order meta in your own
WordPress database. Nothing is sent to any external service.
