About
Game Price Watch tracks any Steam game by link or AppID through the official store API (appdetails) — the same data the store page shows, including discount percentages. The first run records a baseline; after that you see real events: the price dropped below your threshold, a discount started, the price returned to normal, or the game is not sold in your region.
Regional unavailability is shown as an honest status rather than a fake out-of-stock. Pro adds scheduled checks, Telegram alerts with a price threshold, history charts and XLSX/JSON exports.

Where do prices come from?
The official Steam store API (appdetails) — the same data the store page shows, including discount percentages. No private-endpoint scraping.
The game shows unavailable — is it broken?
No. Steam may not sell a title in your region at all; the monitor shows it as an honest status instead of pretending the game went out of stock.
What do I get after payment?
A license key that unlocks Pro on up to 3 Windows machines for 12 months. Updates are delivered by the built-in updater.
Installation & uninstall
Free version
- Download the app with the "Download free" button above and unpack the zip.
- Run GamePriceWatch.exe — no installation needed.
- Add a game by Steam link or AppID, press "Check all" — the first run records the baseline.
Pro version
- After payment you get a license key.
- Click "Activate Pro" in the app and paste the key - Pro unlocks on up to 3 Windows computers for 12 months.
Uninstall
- Delete the app folder - no traces left in the system.
Desktop apps leave no traces: delete the folder and it is gone.
