About
Google Reviews Watch follows your business locations (and competitors) and alerts on new reviews, negative ones (1-3 stars) and rating changes. The first run records a baseline without alerts.
Data source: the official Google Places API. You need YOUR OWN Google key with Places API enabled — requests go only to Google, usage is billed on your own Google plan (the free tier covers typical monitoring).

FAQ
What do I need?
Your own Google Cloud key with Places API enabled. The key is stored locally in encrypted settings and only ever sent to Google.
Where do I get a place_id?
Via Google's official Place ID Finder or from the business card link on Maps.
How much does it cost?
Google has a free monthly Places API tier that covers typical monitoring (hourly checks). Check current Google Cloud pricing.
Free vs Pro?
The limit (30 vs 3000 places) and Pro features: schedule, Telegram alerts, charts, XLSX/JSON. One key works on 3 computers.
Installation & uninstall
Free version
- Download the app with the «Download free» button above and unpack the zip.
- Run GoogleReviewsWatch.exe — no installation needed.
- Works right away: add a place (map link or Place ID) and run the first check.
Pro version
- After payment you get a license key.
- Click "Activate Pro" in the app and paste the key - Pro unlocks on up to 3 Windows computers for 12 months.
Uninstall
- Delete the app folder - no traces left in the system.
Desktop apps leave no traces: delete the folder and it is gone.
