About
Shopify Watch adds competitor stores by domain and reads their catalogs through the public /products.json feed — the same open channel your browser reads when you open a store, and the channel Shopify documents as the standard way to export a catalog. Every check diffs the whole catalog: prices, availability, new and removed products.
The first check records a quiet baseline. After that you see real events — a price dropped, a size ran out, a product came back, something new appeared. Pro turns it into a quiet assistant: scheduled checks, Telegram alerts, history charts and XLSX/JSON exports.
Limitation: some stores behind bot protection (e.g. gymshark.com) close their public catalog from automated requests — those stores cannot be monitored. This is the store's policy, not an app defect.

FAQ
Is it safe — no bans?
The app reads the public /products.json feed, the same open channel your browser uses when you open a store, and it keeps polite request rates. A store can also switch the feed off; the app then shows an honest catalog_hidden status instead of pretending to have data.
What do I track — products or stores?
Stores. You add a competitor store once, and the monitor diffs its whole catalog between checks: price moves, sell-outs, restocks, new and removed products.
What do I get after payment?
A license key that unlocks Pro on up to 3 Windows machines for 12 months. Updates are delivered by the built-in updater.
Installation & uninstall
Free version
- Download the app with the "Download free" button above and unpack the zip.
- Run ShopifyWatch.exe — no installation needed.
- Add a competitor store by domain, press "Check all" — the first run records the baseline.
Pro version
- After payment you get a license key.
- Click "Activate Pro" in the app and paste the key - Pro unlocks on up to 3 Windows computers for 12 months.
Uninstall
- Delete the app folder - no traces left in the system.
Desktop apps leave no traces: delete the folder and it is gone.
