Compress PDF shrinks documents locally. If the free Ghostscript is installed, the app drives it for strong image downsampling with Screen/Ebook/Printer/Prepress presets; without it, a built-in lossless optimizer removes duplicate objects and compresses streams — safe, but modest.
Pro removes the daily limit (Free compresses 2 files a day), unlocks all presets and batch compression.

Is anything uploaded?
No. The app works fully offline; only license activation and update checks touch the network.
Do I need Ghostscript?
For strong image compression — yes, the free Ghostscript helps a lot. Without it the app still optimizes PDFs losslessly.

Installation & uninstall
Free version
- Download the app with the "Download free" button above.
- Unpack the zip (if needed) and run the .exe - no installation needed.
- Works out of the box: add your store / URL and run the first check.
Pro version
- After payment you get a license key.
- Click "Activate Pro" in the app and paste the key - Pro unlocks on up to 3 Windows computers for 12 months.
Uninstall
- Delete the app folder - no traces left in the system.
Desktop apps leave no traces: delete the folder and it is gone.
