GridForge
A trading grid with a fuse: it exits the range instead of averaging into a collapse.

About the bot
GridForge places a classic grid of buy and sell orders across a range you define. The difference from the usual grid bots is the fuse: when the price closes outside the range, the bot doesn't keep averaging — it stops the grid, sells off the accumulated inventory near the boundary and stands down until you restart it.
Range parameters come from you; the risk constitution comes from the core: the daily loss limit, the position cap and a mandatory exit plan cannot be switched off. Before risking real money, run your range through the built-in backtester on historical data.
What it does
- Classic spot grid: buy lower, sell higher — automatically
- Range-break fuse: the grid stops and flattens instead of averaging down
- Mandatory exit plan — the grid won't start without one
- Built-in backtester on real Bybit history
- Position cap and daily loss limit from the core
- Dry-run by default; live requires typing a confirmation phrase
How the suite is built
- The bot follows your written config — and nothing else. A separate risk layer (the "risk constitution") is hard-coded: no config can switch it off.
- Position cap: never more than 50% of the balance in a single position. Daily loss limit: 2% by default, 10% absolute maximum — hit it and the bot flattens everything and pauses for 24 hours.
- Futures always trade with a stop-loss: no stop, no position. Stops are placed on the exchange as real orders, so they keep protecting you even if the bot or your computer goes offline.
- Your API keys never leave your computer. The app runs locally and its code contains no withdrawal functions at all.
- Every decision is logged: which rule of your config fired, with a checksum of the exact config version. "Why did it buy?" always has a precise answer.
- Dry-run first: by default the bot trades a paper account for 7 days. Going live requires typing a confirmation phrase — not just a checkbox.
