About
Password resets, order confirmations, notifications — when WordPress mail fails, it usually fails silently. The free Mail Watchdog logs every email and alerts you when delivery breaks. Pro adds automatic healing: a failed email is retried after 1, 5 and 30 minutes, and the alert only fires after the last attempt fails.
Every logged email has an HTML preview — see exactly what your customers received — and one-click resend with a corrected address for those "I typed my email wrong" moments. The weekly digest sums sent / failed / retried and top senders.

FAQ
Will retrying spam my customers?
No. Retries only happen for emails that failed to send — a successfully sent email is never touched.
Does this fix my SMTP config?
It doesn't replace an SMTP plugin, but it tells you exactly when and why mail breaks — and rescues the letters that failed.
Where are previews stored?
In your database, on your site. Nothing is sent to us.
Installation & uninstall
Free version
- Download the zip archive with the "Download free" button above.
- In your WordPress admin: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Pick the downloaded zip, click "Install Now", then "Activate".
- The plugin's menu appears in wp-admin — configure it to your liking.
Pro version
- After payment, download the Pro archive from your order page (the link is also emailed).
- Install Pro like any plugin: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → Activate.
- The free version must be installed and active — Pro sits on top as a companion.
- Enter the license key on the plugin's Pro settings page.
Uninstall
- Plugins → find the plugin in the list → click "Deactivate".
- Then click "Delete" — the plugin and all its data (tables, settings, logs) are removed completely.
- The Pro companion uninstalls the same way, independently; the free version keeps working.
Every plugin we ship passes a clean-uninstall test: after "Delete" no tables or leftover settings remain in the database.
