About the bot

TrendRider looks for established moves — breakouts and momentum on the pairs you choose — and rides them with a trailing exit. It is the highest-risk bot in the suite, and it is built that way on purpose: the guardrails are not settings, they are the core. Leverage cannot be set above 3×. A position without a stop-loss cannot exist. The daily loss limit flattens everything and pauses the bot.

Before going live, run it in dry-run on a paper account and in the backtester on real Bybit history. TrendRider will lose trades — every trend system does; the guardrails exist so that losing streaks stay survivable.

What it does

How the suite is built

• The bot follows your written config — and nothing else. A separate risk layer (the "risk constitution") is hard-coded: no config can switch it off.
• Position cap: never more than 50% of the balance in a single position. Daily loss limit: 2% by default, 10% absolute maximum — hit it and the bot flattens everything and pauses for 24 hours.
• Futures always trade with a stop-loss: no stop, no position. Stops are placed on the exchange as real orders, so they keep protecting you even if the bot or your computer goes offline.
• Your API keys never leave your computer. The app runs locally and its code contains no withdrawal functions at all.
• Every decision is logged: which rule of your config fired, with a checksum of the exact config version. "Why did it buy?" always has a precise answer.
• Dry-run first: by default the bot trades a paper account for 7 days. Going live requires typing a confirmation phrase — not just a checkbox.
